what bottles do you use?

we are using dr browns so i can only put 8ozs in and thats if i use cartons... powder is usually 7...

so are there certain bottles out there that hold 9ozs? or do you use 2 bottles for a feed?

sorry for silly question!!!

thanks girls is that 9oz of liquid or 9ozs plus powder if tht makes sense!

or is it just dr browns tht have that do not fill above line?

i got rid of all my avent bottles cos we switched to dr browns to ease her colic :dohh:

Avent do 320ml bottles too. I use ready made, Ruby takes 9oz. I did wonder, if I switched to powder, would the water and powder fit in the bottle!

MAM ones that Alice&bump uses...

If I put nine in I have to press the powder down every couple of scoops but it does go!

We used Dr Browns, and put his milk up to 8oz, and it was over flowing above the line, and was making them leak, I've realised now he doesn't really need Dr Browns as he never had colic in the first place! So we've now switched to tommee tippie ones which are 9oz, hes still on 8oz but I find these better, they are pretty full but I like the fact I can shake them to mix it all in, whereas the dr browns would explode if I shuck them with hot water in. I also like the lightweightness of them and the fact theres no extra fiddily sticks or other bits i have to put together, hes getting on well with them and has started holding them himself!

Tomee tippee 9oz bottles - but if only a 5oz bottle clean rhen she has that and then we top it up. oR if using carton and you fill the 5oz bottle right up it's nigh on 8oz.

I use the avent magnum 330ml ones........i bought them thinking that Jac was ready to go up to 9oz but he never did. But we're still on 8ozs and its easier and less bother getting the powder into the bottles...with the normal ones i sometimes made a mess and had to use another bottle. So well worth it for me.

xx

Ellis has 9oz TT bottles. I put the powder in first and use a 5oz bottle to add water, swirl it round and then top it up another 4oz, always fits that way!
