Hi, my baby's 14 weeks old, I had a planned cesarean, am a sahm and am ebf. I just wanted to let you know that it was nit that scary. Yes, I was terrified going in. Yes, I had some complications, problems with hospital, baby struggled to latch ect.
But it was a beautiful experience. Never have I been so consumed, operating on instinct, overwhelmed by love.
Recovery was a process, just be patient. Only now is my tummy looking normal even though Im skinnier then pre pregnancy. Still jiggles a little, but muscles finally arent sore.
Having a newborn is work, its frustrating and exhausting. We have no family to help. But I made a choice that even when he screams even when he wont stop, I will hold him and love him. That made it easier. I chosr to not freak out even when I wanted to. I have had to set him down and walk away a few times.
Dont excpect the worst, it can be scary but its also magical!
