I'm planning on swapping the formula my LO is on. She is one SMA gold and seems to be very windy and her poos at times have been quite firm. She has cried when pooing the past two days.

What forumal do you think I should try? I have no clue. Do a do a total swap or gradually add in the new forumla???

Aliyah had exactly the same problem on SMA gold.
I done a straight swap to Aptamil comfort milk and the change is amazing! Noticed it even after her 1st bottle x

What made you choose the comfort?? and not the regular aptimal.

Sometimes people change to the comfort as some formula ie: sma, is quite common im making babies constipated so the comfort is for constipation/Colic. Saying that my LO was on sma gold and had the same problem it was awful, but we changed to the normal aptimal, and i know a few mums who have done so too!
HTH xxx

I'm doing the same tomorrow, changing from sma to apitmal as my lo is so windy and seems to have tummy ache on sma.

I did read that although a straight swap is fine, it's best to make the change with the first bottle of the day to see how they go on the new milk.

I've gave LO a bottle of Aptamil this morning and she seemed to drink it okay. I wanted to make sure she would be fine with it cuz if not I needed more formula before the shops shut today. She has two bottles left today of the SMA and then it's total Aptamil. I hope it makes her gas and poos better. We shall see.

I will be hoping for the same thing, good luck!! Keep u's updated on how your lo is getting on.

My lo hasn't been drinking properly today, I'm hoping she will pick up after finally doing a poop this afternoon!
