found large cyst in my ovary, a little worried about this..

I ended up in the ER the other day, as I was having awful awful cramps, they did a scan and located a sac with no heart beat, but I was just about 5 weeks exactly so I know that is normal. They also said they located a large cyst, which is causing my discomfort.

They told me not to worry, they would keep an eye on it. But what do I do, I worry! I have another scan in two weeks to make sure baby is still growing, and that the the cyst is NOT. I am really hoping this will not be a big issues, I have enough pregnancy issues as it is:/

also, my hcg was at 2360. Does that sound like a good number for 5 weeks? I haven't been able to make it back in to see if they are doubling. But I was told there was nothing to worry about.

I hate not being able to relax!

A cyst is a good thing!!! Hang in there! The whole point is it makes progesterone to keep your baby alive. I had a 4.5 cm one with the twins in first tri and it saved their lives. It covered the entire right ovary almost! You will cramp and it will go away as the placenta takes over. You're right where you need to be for 5 wks. We saw heartbeats and had hgc levels of 13,313 at 6w0 and it's twins!!!
