Found out the gender today!

We are having another little GIRL!

Not going to lie...I wasn't very excited about it. I really was hoping and wanting a little boy. I feel like this is just going to be dejavu since we already have a girl. I'm online looking at baby girl coming home outfits, newborn headbands, and baby girl nursery sets to try and get me a little more excited lol.

DH is shocked that he is going to have two daughters! hahah. I think we both can't believe that now we will soon have two little girls running around here.

It will be amazing your lilttle girl has a sister. My new baby is a girl too, and there will be 7.5 years between my girls, (eek, first time I've said that!) and I really hope that they are close as they grow up.

I think two girls will be lovely. My sister and I weren't particularly close growing up but she's like my best friend now!

I understand how you feel though. I think ideally a lot of people want to experience raising one of each gender.

We found out last week that we are having a girl so we will have one of each. I also was not too excited when we found out as I had this vision in my head of DS having a brother as there will only be 2 years 3 months between them. But ultimately i am just happy she is healthy and I'm looking forward to meeting her. And DS seems pretty excited about the prospect of a baby sister.

I'm sure your girls will grow up best of friends.

I had mixed feeling when I found out I had another boy. Now I'm stoked! Fully accepted that the only way I get go buy cute dresses is to count on my friends having girls. Turns out most just had or are having Boys too!!!

I thought the sun rose and set on my sister (she was 2 years older), I think you will love having two girls that grow up to be best friends. I honestly don't know any sisters that aren't.

We are having our third girl and I wouldn't have it any other way! DH and I were hoping for another girl! We wanted 3 it's honestly the best. Sisters are priceless! I have a brother and although we're close etc it's not the same as my friends who had sisters. The boy /girl combo is cute but 2 sisters or 2 brothers are the best xx

Congratulations!!! I totally understand that disappointed feeling though. When baby arrives that will disappear though! I promise!! I have two boys and 1 girl. With my last baby(boy) I was really hoping for a girl...but now I couldn't imagine my life without my youngest little guy!
However now that I'm pregnant with #4, I'm REALLY hoping for another girl. To even it out.

Thanks ladies! I know I will get more excited as the weeks go by, I just think I'm still in shock that we will be having another mini-version of our daughter lol. I've been online looking at baby girl nursery stuff and cute little girly things to help get me out of my funk. DH has been really helpful with telling me positive things to get me more excited. It's funny, even though he said he wanted a boy I think he secretly wanted another girl lol. He's so excited.

Congrats on your second girly! I have 2 girls and they're so cute together no-one can make the little one laugh like her big sister can Very different personalities too. We've stayed team yellow for this baby and although a boy would be a nice change I do love the idea of 3 sisters growing up together too
