Frankie for a girl?

I am so close to having this baby and still no name picked!

Could I get opinions on Frankie for a girl, with the full name Francesca on birth certificate?

I kind of like it, but I don't know if I like it enough. But I don't have any girls name that I really love.

My favourite name is Alexandra with Alex as a nn, but we have an Alex in the family already so it's out.

I think Francesca is a beautiful name! There are a couple different nicknames that could be derived from it, so if you like her full name I would say wait until you meet her and see what you naturally end up calling her! I knew a Francesca and we all called her Cesca which totally fit her personality. Or we would call her Franny, which sounds like one of these vintage revival type names.

I think Frankie for a girl is adorable! Francesca is a lovely girly name too, so it's nice that she has that option as well.
Another unisex option is Frances with nn Fran or Frankie

Thanks for the positivity! If I use it will be primarily Frankie, with Francesca just for formality. But I do like the fact that there's lots of nicknames so if she hates Frankie she can change.

It's hard when you don't have a standout name that you love.
