Frayed cervix?

My doc just told me I have a slightly frayed cervix, never heard of that before, anyone else?

I don't know much about it but didn't want to R&R. As far as I know it shouldn't cause any problems except maybe light bleeding during pregnancy. I don't think it's anything to be too concern about just annoying.

What did your doctor say to you?

Well she just said that really, I went due to bleeding after sex so she is testing me for all sorts and she checked my cervix whilst taking swabs. I had pelvic inflammatory disease a few years ago and the bleeding and tenderness may be connected to that. Pretty worried about the PID at this minute as that may have affected my fertility.

Fingers crossed it hasn't. Have a chat with you doctor about it. Eat lots of anti inflam and healing foods, lots of berries, fruit and veg, nuts and seeds and oily fish. Or you could take a Omega 3,6 & 9 supplement.

You can buy bags of frozen berries from supermarkets. Much cheaper.
