I was straining earlier to go to the toilet which was eventually successful but upon wiping, I noticed there was some bright blood which definitely came from my vagina.
It disappeared as soon as I'd wiped and then next time I went to the loo (this time just for a wee) I was dreading seeing more blood but there was nothing!
I've had no pain whatsoever so looked around on Google for an answer (as you do??!!)
I read that you can have what's called a friable cervix which means its sensitive to overstraining when going to the loo or having sex but then the blood completely disappears. This would make sense for me and give me a less worrying answer. I had some spotting at week 6 but it only lasted a few days, no pain. Had an early scan, everything fine, heartbeat found so I was really relieved.
Has anyone else had anything similar as I'm hoping the spot of blood which has not yet returned was just due to the straining.
