Hi,

I am currently going through my third miscarriage in a row in 8 months. I never get past 7 weeks! I feel like I am never going to have a child  and i'm very depressed and looking for success stories. I have just turned 32 and am healthy. I have had lots of tests so far and nothing has come up. Was anyone in the same position as me and is now having a successful pregnancy?

So sorry to hear about your loss hun, not me personally, but my mum did and so did my cousin, both never got past 6 weeks but my mum went on to have 3 healthy girls and my cousin just gave birth to a son, have you looked into getting some tests done?

heya hun, i am living proof its possible

and i swear its all down to the 75mg daily dose of asprin......

like you i went throught 3MC's one straight after the other, finally i heard about the asprin and lo and behold the next one sticks

Thank-you that's really reassuring. I have had so many tests done (had to pay privately) after 2 miscarriages because I thought surely this can't be bad luck!! But nothing came up. I'm going back to the doctors on Monday to see if I can now be referred to a specialist now. Did your mum or cousin ever have any treatment for their successful pregnancies and do you know how old they were when it happened? Thanks!

i also had all the tests done after the 2nd and nothing was abnormal.......

i also got my fella to take vit C as it improves the sperm

Thanks for replying! It gives me so much hope when I hear success stories. Many many congratulations to you! :flower:When in your cycle did you start taking aspirin if you don't mind me asking? Also did you get pregnant quickly too?

I had 3 miscarriages in 6 months. My last was Start of Jan 2011, I left my next cycle and didn't DTD that month. I started trying again and I got my BFP in March 2011 and I'm now 32 weeks pregnant :).

aspirin is definitely worth researching, got 2 bump buddies on here after multiple losses both due ina couple of weeks after aspirin.. both in their 30s i believe hun xx

Yep mum and cousin had the tests done and nothing was found to be abnormal, i know my cousin like Missmayhem took the asprin daily, she was 23 when she concieved and her little boy stuck, not sure if mum did anything different but i'll double check she was 23, not all hope is lost i promise hun :hugs:

Thanks ladies that's so reassuring I feel much happier now than I did an hour ago! I feel like I need daily reassurance. I hate this part of a miscarriage, just waiting for it all to be over and then waiting for a period and then waiting for a BFP! Might wait till I have had a least one full period until trying again.

Thanks BeckyBoo, and many congratulations to you! :flower: I'm not what DTD means!!

Do the deed hun :). We avoided sex for one cycle as I wanted to give my body to reset. I thought it would take me a while after that, but I fell pregnant the next cycle after missing one :).

DTD = doing the dance/ deed :sex:
I haven't personally had a loss but my SIL had 3 losses in a row and will be having her LO by elective c-section on 11 October, though her losses were due to a bicornuate uterus at 4, 6 and 8 weeks. She's 36.

Good luck! Sounds like the aspirin is well worth a go! I'm so sorry for your losses, hope you get your sticky one soon!

Oh ha ha! Like that. I think that's a good idea as with this miscarriage I got pregnant during the cylce which was my 1st period after miscarriage and it was not a normal period (bled for 7 days instead of my normal 4). Think it's a good idea to give your body a rest too like you said.

No I didn't hun, but I was on prednisolone (steroids) because of my arthritis and eye condition. And apparently that can often be given to women who have alot of early miscarriages, so I don't know if that helped at all, but it wasn't the reason I was on it.

Ok well that's something to look into. Is arthritis genetic? my grandmother suffered from this most of her life.

They can't say for sure that it is. Both my parents had it and I was only one out of 3 kids to get it.

But I was perfectly fit and healthy until I got a bad case of the flu when I was 2 years old, and arthritis can be set off by a high tempreture.

My kids are 6 and 3 and are absolutely perfect in every way.

i took asprin starting on CD1

concieved CD14 and they stuck

i seem to get pregnant very quickly just had trouble keeping them

Aspirin sounds like it helps quite a bit. I haven't hand any MCs that i know of, but i only conceived after starting to take 50 mg of vitamin b6 a day. Apparently birth control pills in the past can create a lingering deficiency, even after you've gone off the pill. I took the b6 pretty much the whole way through the first two tris. Good luck to you!
