Good evening! I have been reading through forums and posts for several days trying to find a situation similar to mine. I am healthy, active and I do not drink or smoke and I do not drink caffeine. I have never been late for my cycle until last month. I am currently 28 days late, and in have the following symptoms:

Nausea
Vomiting (in the mornings only)
Constipation
Excess peeing
Very tired all the time
Emotional
Heartburn
Very tender breasts
Feel bloated or like my belly is pushing out.
Cannot be around bread or brown rice and always wanting peanut butter (which I was never a fan of until recently)

I have had a total of 5 positive hits in the last 2 weeks but when I go to the doctor his pee test and blood tests have all come back negative. I have had 3 blood tests now.

So am I really pregnant or is my body going nuts? I have never had any of these symptoms in my life and I don't have any family I could maybe speak to about this matter. My hubby is trying to stay on the cautious side and I'm trying to not get excited because I don't understand what is going on. I have an ultrasound scheduled next week.

Any enlightenment to what is going on would be helpful.

Thanks!
Penny

That's really weird if blood tests are coming back negative. I hope your ultrasound provides some answers. Xx

just keep taking your vitamins, never heard of anyone in the same situation.

When you say positive hits do you mean positive pregnancy tests?? Xxx

Agree with previous posters..never heard of it. What type of test did you get your positives on?

Well i have never heard of that happening im sorry i hope you get the answers you want

Yes sorry I meant positive tests! I was typing on my iPad and it generally likes to change things. Lol. I had 3 tests on ept and the other 2 on clear blue easy.

Any updates here? I haven't seen you in first tri yet...

I wish i had an update to give. As of this last week I had an ultrasound but my doctor wont be back until next week. His nurse called me on Friday asking me to come in for more blood work and I am now being referred to a specialist. I have had 2 more positive home tests and the symptoms are still the same.

wow thats curious please update us in case anyone else has the same problem in the future

when you were getting your ultrasound did you see anything? did the technician say anything?

I'd think that it would come back on the blood tests if you were... weird!! maybe you're body is just producing the hormones so you're having a false pregnancy? I have no clue.. let us know!

this is what im thinking and that possibly may have a cyst that is causing this may maybe why there making you go for further bloods and such. I think if u where pregnant they would have told u over the phone...

(im sorry ur going through this)

Sometimes supplements or medications can yield a false positive, so let your doctor know if you are on something. Your symptoms could also be psychosomatic. If you are producing HCG in your urine and not your blood, they need to do a full medical evaluation as it can indicate a few other serious conditions (endocrine or pituitary gland malfunction, tumor, etc). If the doctor keeps kicking it around, go get a second opinion!

supplements wont do this, though some meds may do this if there hormone based...but again not many..there usually made to do that and ur put on that to do that...

more then likely its a cyst causing this or its picking up what we normally carry in our systems... what ur saying can happen with the tumor and other stuff but its more likely something else then endocrine problem or pituitary problem....I think she is more then likely ok.:hugs:...
