Frustrated

I want to start with I love this board. I feel just like 9 times out of 10 a post of mine goes unreplied too. We all come here for advice and when you get none its frustrating. I have been here for years so this isn't someone new who feels like there not being listened too. This feeling has been getting worst and worst with each year. Maybe I am not asking my questions right or I am not engaging enough. I am not sure. I love this forum. Its the first one I ever joined at the start of my TTC journey. I am not leaving. I just felt like I needed to vent.

I was wondering are there other forums you participate on? Do you feel the same here?

This is just from my personal experience but if I don't get around to responding to a thread it usually means I didn't see it in the new posts section. Either that or I don't know what to say . Most of the time though it's because I didn't actually see the post. I'm one of the people that browses the new post section instead of individual forums.

As for using other websites, I really don't. They've proven to be pretty toxic to me.

I try to reply to everything but sometimes I don't know the answer to things so I can't reply to every single post.
It's a lot quieter here than it used to be.

Yeah I understand why some people dont respond because they don't know an answer. But it's just getting worst and worst the response rate.

I’ve been on this forum for 9 years and sometimes it’s just impossible to know what to say. So it’s best to say nothing.

On top of that like Bev said it just doesn’t have the same amount of traffic that it used to.

It’s just one of those things but it’s not personal

Right now I struggle to use this forum because of the layout! I can't get my notifications to work and it's so hard to navigate. Sorry you're not getting any replies.

Don't think you're ever being ignored, people prefer to read and run as they feel they can't have any viable input or feel useless in some scenarios.I have problems with the navigation of the new site, it's just so... muddled. A lot of the "new posts" I have no interest in as they aren't relevant to me (TTC-pregnancy).

After lurking in the odd sub, I've found that a lot of the sub-forums are becoming more inactive. I've seen threads which haven't been made for months. I'm not as active as I used to be, but I tend to just stick to general/off-topic sides of the site, which are extremely active.
