Frustrating first specialist appointment

A RE should recommend a laporoscopy. If you have a bunch of endo (maybe asymptomatic) they clean it out and bam you get pregnant. Apparently in some women even minimal lesions interfere with hormone signaling and implantation.

Hello,
Sarah, I think re is reproductive endocrinologist has more of a focus on hormones and whatnot (I might be wrong tho lol) but here in Canada I think we are all referred to fertility specialists.
Velo, I would ask your family doctor to refer you to a new clinic-I know you'll be waiting again, but the testing does seem a little lacking for you. For example, the amount of tests I am getting sent for has me rethinking bc I'm terrified!! I was told I would get:
-bloods several times throughout the month
-endometrial biopsy
-hsg (but the sonogram version?)
-internal exam
-random bloodwork (hormones, STD, etc)
Lots of stuff!
Good luck with whatever you decide!
