FS appointment today

Hi ladies,

Well we had our 1st FS appointment this afternoon!!! I feel like ive been waiting forever for this day to arrive!
Anyway, it went quite well. I had another blood test done and I need to book myself in for another scan to check my ovaries etc and my OH needs to do another SA which will determine if we need IVF or ICSI.
We have had all the other tests done with our doctor which im really happy about, so at least they are out of the way.
We also need to attend an open evening at the hospital which involves a presentation by the doctors and nurses that are involved in the treatments.
We should be given a follow up appointment in 6 weeks once both our results are back. This is when we decide if we would like to continue
I did ask what the waiting list is like ( we will have to self fund) and she said it wasnt very long at all so im hoping we will start before the end of the year!
I am feeling quite positive and im really happy with our doctor, I wasnt sure what to expect. But FX everything goes ok!

Fantastic news that your appt went well - it makes life so much better when the hurdles feel easier to jump!

The best bit about self funding is no waiting - which means your will be here before you know it... maybe a nice crimbo present!

Sounds like your appointment went well Obe . Sounds like things are moving forward which is always a positive and uplifting thing. Hoping you get a BFP before xmas xo
