FS consultation went well!

I'm back from my first FS consultation! Seems like it's been a long time coming!
The FS was really lovely & the appt went well

We have two issues it seems, one lies with me - I have a short LP and a tendency to ov early, these are probably cutting my chances of conceiving right down.
The other is OH's SA. It's much lower than we thought, only 10m and this is almost certainly due to his varicocele, so they don't expect it to improve. The motility and morph are ok (39% mot 10% morh) though, so we should have enough to get the job done one way or another

First plan of attack is clomid & follicle tracking to try and give me a 28 day cycle. Hopefully starting next month, depending on when I can get my baseline scans done!

Soooo glad I am finally moving forwards!

Great news, Hun!! well, it's not actually great news, but you know what I mean?!

Im really glad you are so positive about it and that you finally have some answers. The Clomid plan sounds fab! I really hope it works for you! I just completed my first cycle - didn't get pg but ovulated on CD19 for the first time in 4 months I also had a 13 days LP on Clomid.

I'm really glad to read the appointment went ahead and went well. I can't believe they were prepared to cancel it at such late notice.

Did you OH do another SA that it came up with a lower count? Surely they didn't interpret the first wrongly did they?

Did the FS explain in details what the clomid is supposed to do? Will it help with both the FP and LP?

You must be really relieved that you are now under the care of the FS. Crossing all my fingers for you

My OH's sperm have been 14mil, 7mil and 11mil and I got pregnant so your right it will happen again eventually
