At almost 22 weeks, where should mine be? from what I can feel, its just above my navel.
Where did you measure at my stage?

Just wonderinnnnnnng!

Louise its sounds like you are pretty much spot on.

At 22 weeks your fundle height will be around 22cm for an average sized baby - However you can give or take 4cm either way without too much concern.
From your pubic bone to your naval is approximately 20cm, so you being able to feel baby just above your naval is what it should be at your gestation.

Hope this makes sense.

Oh and with Ky I always measured spot on "Normal" - i.e 20cm at 20 weeks and so on. He was 6lb 9.5 oz - So classed as "Under average Birth weight".
I think the average for a boy at birth is 7lb 11oz.....Its not 100% accurate, but gives a general guide to your health care provider as to whether your baby is particularly big or small. Generally if they suspect a problem either way, a scan will be used to confirm as the position of the baby can affect the fundle heights accuracy.
