GAHHH whats this tailbone pain!

I sit in a chair all day at work in front of a computer. Only had this pain when im pregnant. I feel a sharp pain at the end of my tailbone. WOWEEE sore... is this common?? Does anyone else have this? What is it!

I'm not sure if it's the same thing you are describing, but I have horrible pains in my tailbone as well. Mine started in my first pregnancy and has just come back now that I am pregnant again. I have been to a physical therapist for it, they said it was sciatic nerve pain, supposedly a lot of women get it during pregnancy.

I had this, really really horrible, I felt like I couldn't walk properly!

hehe! i had this with both of my last two pregnancies haven't had it again yet this time!!!! it used to hit me most just as i sat down!!!!

(no idea what it is either, but i presume its completely normal as i had 2 h&h pregnancies!) xxxx

I had tailbone pain early on when i sat in certain positions. Was very odd, didn't know if it really was a pg symptom or not.

Just got this a few days ago too! I guess it is normal to get sciatica (nerve pain in the lower back) during pregnancy. I was surprised because I am so early on and thought maybe it would come later due to weight gain but I guess not! I also have noticed the back of my legs are starting to feel really tired pretty fast (I walk to work and it has been a struggle lately!) Here is a good article:
