Game of Thrones!

Is it wrong that I find Jaime Lannister nice?! I've only seen the first 20min of the first episode of series 1 but currently I think he's the best so far.

I do like the Imp in the books. He isn't as ugly in the series as I imagined him though.

I've never really thought much about Jamie looks wise(in the program) never been much for blondes and I think he's too "pretty"

I also saw this and thought BANG ON!

That is funny. I'm not really into blondes either but all the dark haired men are either too chunky or too young. I'm usually someone that goes for slightly older too but Sean just doesn't do it for me. We'll see what happens as the series progresses.
Sean makes a good Ned though.

Well you're talking to the woman who is in love with Theon Greyjoy, so I'd say no, that is not weird.

That's not as bad as finding Joffery nice though - he's been well cast, i can't stand him already lol

Yup. That's pretty much how I feel

I don't like Caitlin either, though she does get a bit more interesting. I'm usually feel like just skipping the chapter

Great way of putting it :thumb up:

Does the first series end where the first book does?

Rach - Yep, I think it does. Then book 2 starts at season 2 and so forth.

Thanks. That's ok then - i might get chance to get the books read before the series is on - i'm on the 4th i think.

I'm so happy there are so many closet GoT fans on BnB!

I'm sad there's so few Alfie Allen fans, was hoping I could find some sympathy for my crush in the UK! My husband says I have weird taste and alas that is proving to be true :haha:

I recommend the books. They are very good

how many books are there ? is the storyline the same did the series change stuff ? Could someone pleeease tell me if in the books
Drogo comes back to life somehow?
....

Oulina, I've read all the books so far and I can tell you

Nope, he doesn't.

Love GoT. Can't wait for season 3 to start! <3 the Hound :)

Must finish Dance with Dragons tho lol

From the first series I wondered if
it would turn out that Jon Snow was the secret child of Ned's sister and Robert Baratheon.
Is it ever discussed in the books?

Jon's parentage is mentioned briefly in books, but only as speculation and quite a few women have been mentioned as possibly being his mother.

ive never heard Lyanna and Robert, but who knows. I think the most common fan speculation in Lyanna stark and rhaegar targaryen. But nobody knows yet!

After reading all the books so far, we are no closer to finding out about John's mother. It has been mentioned a few times so I think something will be coming of it.

It mentions a name in the books (i've not read all of them yet though) of a lady with a name beginning with W i think. But it doesn't really give any more info than that, if i remember rightly.
