Love this show!! :D

On the topic of attractive characters, I don't think I find any of the males attractive. I do have a massive girl crush on Emilia Clarke though.
 
I#m just watching the 1st series now, OH is really into the books and series and wants me to catch up so we can watch the 3rd series, but i'm honestly not feeling it :wacko:, think i'm the only person who doesn't enjoy it, i'll stick at it though, I do like some of the characters but don't find any attractive!
 
I am so excited about Season 3. I like the books better but aaahhh!! I love the show so much too <3

I hear Alfie Allen is back with his ex. Guess there's no hope for me boo hoo.
 
Trying to play catchup at the moment.

Did i miss in the books that Renly and the knight of flowers were having a bit of a thing, or was it not in the books?
 
I didnt overly notice it in the books either, apparently it was there but just a lot more subtle
 
I thought I'd watch the TV series as I liked the books. So far it's annoying me! I hate most book adaptations cos I can't stand the changes, but what's bugging me most is that it's not even set in England and yet with their accents it sounds like a group of kids in Yorkshire have just staged a play! Eurghh. Plus I can't take Chris from Skins or that chubby one from Full Monty seriously.

The books are kind of hilarious with Renly being gay. There's one sentence that says something to the extent of Renly being the "best dressed" man at court :rofl: It's like, come on, we know what you're getting at!
 
It's one of my pet hates. Like in Lord of the Rings and one hobbit is apparently Irish or something. I mean for goodness sakes...

I'm not really liking King Robert at the moment - kind of glad he dies lol. He didn't come over in the books as being quite the arse that he is in the series!
And Ned is growing on me - that accent, yum!! I'M a southern girl and normally northern accents aren't my thing (my parents are from the north so i grew up surrounded by northern accents) but Ned's is nice (a bit like Richard Armitage)
