I control my GD through diet alone, but the last 2 days, I've had a LOT of levels that are under 100 after a meal. Today, they just keep going down. I've stuffed myself today -- yet I've had to have some juice 3 times already. Anyone have any experience with this? Should I call my Doc?

hi, I do not have GD, but i am hypoglycemic. If your levels are between 120 and 70 that is PERFECT! anything below 70 is not good :nope:
What exactly are your levels when they are below 100? Because if it isn't lower than 70, that is great news hun! :friends:

Thanks Guppy... you sound just like my doc! The targets they gave me for 1 hour after a meal were between 100 & 130. But, the Doc said yesterday that unless I'm under 70 not to worry. :)

No problem
I know I was miserable when I would get lows! I would get violent vomiting episodes and bad headaches (sometimes my symptoms would start at 74ish, but would it was very bad it would only be in the 50s  lost so much weight cuz of it. I'm just now half a pound over my pre pregnancy weight and I'm 29 weeks! I passed the 16 week GD test but usually GD develops after 24 weeks (though not always). Have to get tested again this week, I sure hope it's still just hypoglycemia and not GD

Aww Guppy, you've been through a lot! Hopefully you won't have to deal with GD. I've lost weight myself, 10 pounds in 2 weeks, and it makes you worry I know. Let me know how your test comes out.

thanks dear.
Same for you! sounds like you've been there done that. its no fun :nope: thats for sure.
But the good news is, now that i know how to control it, ive been feeling great and i love being pregnant! just wish i would have known sooner.
Will update you once i find out :) i got tomorrow to the midwife.

Hey girl. No GD here
Just thought I'd update ya :)

Ps I finally gained weight! 4 pounds over pre pregnancy weight!
