UPDATE nuermo deux.

i got her date of birth underneath. for some reason they did it in bigger writing but i dont mind as i figured i can get a halo or princess crown next to her name to make it look more even. seen a butterfly tattoo i want to get down the side of it which has 5 butterflies 1 for each of my babies and then eventually get her footprints done.

also attached a pic of my dfs tattoo in memory of her. will keep adding more pics as i get more done :D lol. x

Thats a Lovely idea, I had Callums name and a little star under it and its my favourite one because it really means something special! The foot prints are a lovely idea too. Good luck it dont hurt - too much!! lol xxx

sounds wonderful!! I have one with all my childrens name and year coming off a vine with a butterfly in the middle. I added Rebecca's in Janurary, it is a lovely idea and great way to let people know she is apart of you and always will be. More then likely I will just add a year with wings for our little angel we just loss.

Opps forgot to say it hurts worse in certain areas of the body.. Where are going to have it put?

Lovely idea babe, I got this one done for Sophie.

Good luck hun, that's a lovely idea :)

Donna, I love your tattoo :)

Thanks Bexy!

The footprint is so tiny. It's a lovely tattoo though. Very brave to have it done on her foot too

It was very brave of her but she said it was worth it for Sophie. She said it proper killed her...bless x x x

I think it's a lovely idea. My cousin designed this one for me in memory of Taylor. I'm not sure when I am actually going to get it done, but it will be soon.

Ooooh did u have it done? did it hurt. Can we see a pic? sorri im really excited cuz i want to get Alexs name on my wrist but im a chicken!! xxx

What a beautiful idea babytots.

Hayley honey, the wrist isnt as sore as I imagined. i have two other tattoos that were much smaller. My best friend had her daughters name done on her wrist too, and she said it wasnt sore at all, prob because there isnt that much colouring in to do and it doesnt take that long.

Lovely tributes ladies. i love them all!

I have one on my back and one on my ankle. The one on my ankle didn't seem as bad, but I think that had a lot to do with the fact I could actually see what he was doing. It was also easier to sleep with the ankle one as the one on my back is rather large and it was pretty hard to get comfy. The best way I can describe it is when you fall off your bike and scrape your skin. It doesn't hurt for too long, but it's kinda stingy and itchy while it's healing.

thanks ladies i shall upload a photo in a moment. only got her name done as had to take df and the girls with me (was planning to go with a friend but she cancelled) and my eldest was playing up so thought it would be better just to get her name and the rest done next week.

bunnipower your tatto sounds lovely. its nice to have a lasting memory of our angels etched on our bodies.

donna your tattoo is gorgeous! as is your sisters what a lovely tribute to do for her neice. the footprint is fab! jessicas are so teeny tiny compared to sophies. hers are just a bit bigger then my thumbnail. the dragonfly sounds lovely too.

rach- your tattoo sounds gorgeous. i'm going to get stars to represent my 2 other angels and eventually get something for my daughters too.

hayley it doesnt hurt that much really. actually surprised me it just felt like what a needle does when having your blood taken though just more constant. if you can hack giving birth you can hack having a tattoo done. i got it on the top of my arm thought it was the safest option for my first tattoo cant wait to add to it now. i also found thinking of jessica while i was having it done helped as i was doing it for her so the pain was bearable.

lee-arr that butterfly is beautiful! what a lovely reminder to have of angel taylor. butterflys remind me of jessica as i saw so many in the month before she was born. as do daffodils and blossom trees.

right off to upload it a pic now. my df noticed that the bottom of the j doesnt look right probably because i was shaking so much lmao hopefully when i go back next week they can correct it. x

cant wait to see it babe, Im sure its beautiful...your making me one another one NOW!! lol! If only I had the money!

Thanks, im glad you like mine and my sisters tattoos! :hugs:

Eeeeek I cant wait to see :) I didnt have any pain at all during Alex's birth (but I did have epidural) and I was asleep between 3 and 10 cms haha!! xxx

thanks donna lol at you wanting another. i can see why people get addicted to them. my partner has 7 tattoos both his top arms are covered and the top of his back and he has 2 on his chest. he needs to get charlottes name done and for his birthday i'm buying him a tattoo for jessica. its a man holding a a baby is really lovely. hes going to be covered in them at this rate!

bless you hayley having an epidural bet that was nice being able to snooze :D i was too scared to have one done and managed on gas and air with both my girls and with jessica too. i hate needles. honestly though the pain really isnt that bad at all plus the tattooist stopped and started so you get a bit of relief. i am a total wuss when it comes to pain (though labour pain for some reason i can just about handle) and it was nothing like i imagined. x

Aww her name looks lovely hun.

Donna both your and your sisters are beautiful tributes.

This is mine for Honey
