Getting a TB test while breastfeeding?

Is it okay? My job requires every employee to get a TB test and I am kind of concerned about doing so. I called the location where I am to get the test & they said they need a note from the pediatrician.. I called and left a message at the pediatricians office and am awaiting their response. In the meantime I'd like you ladies opinions on this.
