I will be 6 weeks tomorrow and this was the same time that my last pregnancy ended. I had a mmc which was not discovered until my 12 week scan but they told me it had ended at 6-7 weeks. My symptom started to fade at about the same time although no one listened to me when I asked if this was normal. I have been very calm through this one so far and would like to continue this way I just think that it's going to be so difficult over the next couple of weeks.

This pregnancy feels very different from my last which I am hoping is a good thing. Any advice on how to get through the next two weeks

Yes, keep busy, keep busy, keep busy. Remember that fluctuating symptoms are very normal and remember that women who've had just one miscarriage have a 24/25 chance of carrying to term second time round x

I know how you feel completely. I've had two MCs both found out at 12wk but baby was size of 8 or 9 weeks - two dncs in one year. So I'm 8 weeks today and feeling pretty scared. I'm am taking some comfort in my tiredness and bouts of nausea (lol). They have ordered a scan for me at 9 weeks so hopefully that will be good news and get me thru to 12 weeks. In the meantime I'm keeping busy, staying optimistic and just trying to keep healthy.

I hope this helps but for my first mc my preg symptoms disappeared at about 6/7 weeks. Then my 2nd mc I had preg symptoms right thru til after my dnc. So in my opinion they are not a good indicator of the viability of the fetus. If your symptoms disappear don't panic - I think every preg is different. And lots of people say their symptoms disappear late in the first trimester when they go on to have perfect babies.

Anyway - hugs to u, here's to hoping we both see that beautiful hb our 12 wk scan! Please keep us updated. And keep positive!

Poor u having to go through it twice in a year. Once was bad enough. I wish you lots of luck for you scan at 9 weeks. I did think of paying for one when I got to 8 weeks however it would be the week before Xmas and I'm husband have decided to wait. Because I have quite long cycles I will be booked in a bit early for my 12 weeks anyway so just going to wait and keep my fingers toes and everything crossed for both of us xxx

Sorry my quote button didn't work on that last post!!!

I really feel for you, I had a natural MC at 6w then I was lucky enough to conceive again straight away. This pregnancy felt really different to my first one in the beginning too and I'm now carrying a healthy boy!
My advice to get you through the next few weeks is to stay as positive as you can, sometimes you have to force yourself! You just have to beleive in yourself and that it will all be fine this time.
Good luck at your scan xx

i completely feel you, we lost our LO at 11w6d. The closer we get to that week the more nervous we get. this pregnancy also feels different from my last for some reason.

the only advice i have is to stay positive and strong, which can be hard soemtimes but im doing it for our families. im normally a strong person in general but this obviously hits my heart harder so some days i want to be a negative nancy but i just plaster a smile on my face. \

best of luck to you :hugs:
