Getting close?

This is my OPK from this afternoon. I'd say it's getting close to positive or could I possibly missed the surge since I didn't test till this afternoon? I'm not temping so I can't confirm with that, but this is the darkest line I've seen yet with OPKs.

When did you take your last OPK? It's possible you missed it, but more than likely you are catching the beginning if you took one last night and it was negative. My thoughts are that if you get that strong of a line, you are surging. It may not be perfectly positive, but there is obviously a good amount of LH in your system and since we are only catching a snapshot of the surge, you may not get a perfect positive every month. But with a strong line like that, you're definitely surging. Where in your surge you are is now the question, not whether you are having the surge or not

My last OPK was this morning at 10 with my SMU. It was a very faint line, so I think this is the start of the surge. Should I test again this evening?

Yup, definitely the start of your surge. Test again tonight and I bet it will be positive
