Getting so ancy... AF rears her ugly head

My husband and I are on our 3rd month of TTC#1, and AF pops up like a welcome guest this morning.

I know it's early yet, but we are getting so ancy about baby #1. I am 25 years old, my husband is 28, and we are ready to be parents. Every time I get a BFN, my heart sinks a little bit.

Suggestions? We're having sex when I'm ovulating, according to my ovulation calculator... maybe it's wrong? I dunno. I'd love some advice.

If you are using anything other than tracking your BBT to determine when you ovulate most likely you have that day wrong.

Temping is the only way to determine when ovulation occurred.

Keep in mind too that you only have a 20% chance of pregnancy each cycle. It can take a healthy couple up to a year to conceive.

I would start using OPKs, too. Once you have a positive, you should O within 24-48 hours, so get BDing! But, beachy is right, only BBT will confirm that you actually O.

I always thought you should BD a bit before ovulation. But don't give up your hopes. We are TTC #1 too, but we are only in our first month of trying and AF is gonna show up soon I think cause I started cramping. My husband is gone on field rotations a lot since he's in the army and so we might not be able to try for a couple of months. (of course they are planning on taking him around the time I should ovulate too grrr) Don't give up your hopes, I'm with you

Thank you guys so much. I just bought a OPK today, so I'm hoping that is going to help. I'm also going to start tracking my BBT.
