I am supposed to get my wisdom teeth out soon, but was wondering if it is safe? I don't have an appointment yet, so I have not gotten the chance to ask if it is safe. Does anyone know? I am just so scared they will say I can't breast feed for a few days, because Alexa won't get to sleep at night unless she has a boob in her mouth... (I know bad habit but that's how it is right now.) Help!!!

Sorry if this isn't the right place to post, I figured it seemed like it was where it should go...

Humm not sure , I know that what ever they use to numb you may stay in your body 24-48 hrs ..so mabey pump milk for her for those hrs , do you use a dummy at all ?

Thanks for the reply... Nope she won't take it LOL

I can't see why you couldn't breastfeed.

Anesthesia is still going through one's body after a C-section yet they try and have the baby latch on as soon as you are out of the recovery room. As for pain medication, after C-sections they give tylenol 3 and I've breastfed.

Thanks! See, that is what I thought at first, but then my friend went and said that I would not be able to breast feed for 2 days!! Of course that upset me, because breastfeeding is something that is very important to me every day.
