Hi.
I gave birth 4 months ago, my first two periods after having my baby were normal, well normal for me anyway. However, this time (my 3rd period) it is really really heavy, i've been flooding and spending most of my time sitting on the toilet just so i can avoid flooding everywhere, i am wearing maternity pads too! This has been like it since sunday and although it has got a little better since yesterday, i am still bleeding dark red blood quite heavy.
My periods only usually last for 4-5 days so i am getting really worried now. Along with this, i have terrible cramps and my stomach feels bloated. What can this be? I am going to try and see my doctor today but i know she'll just throw tablets at me to stop the bleeding but that isn't really solving the problem is it?! Anyone else had this?
