Ginger bread house

Anyone make these?

Are they easy?

I'm a novice baker

Of anyone would like to share a recipe that would be great!

Or.. Do you think it's better to buy on flat packed from somewhere like M&S (if they sell them) and just erect it without any baking?

i tried baking one from scratch....put it this way it ended up all scrunched up in the bin
it just wouldnt stay sturdy and the icing wouldnt dry quick enough euuuuggghhh.
but ive heard good things about the one from asda!

Ive never made one before but at the moment am subscribed to bake and delicious, their festive brochure is out soon which includes the silicone mould to make a gingerbread house so am going to have a try

Not much help but they do sell their issues in shops.

I made one from scratch in 2009 and never will i do it again ..the pieces took ages to stick together..was very annoying

I've made one every year since i was 5. A couple years ago people started asking to buy them if i made them I make at least 3 every year now.One year i made 23 of them it was crazy the kitchen wasn't clean for weeks
