So we're expecting a little girl and are struggling with coming up with a name. We always liked Jessica, in fact we would have gone with that if DS had been a girl. But now we're not so sure.

The middle name is going to be Michelle, as it's family tradition on both sides to have the middle name taken from the mother. Our surname begins with 'P' and has two syllables so really need something to run well together.

We have ruled out Emily, Emma, Chloe, Amy, Lucy, Rebecca and Alice as we don't want to repeat names already in the family. We've also got close friends with an Amelia so again we don't want to have the same name.

So I'm open to any suggestions that anyone could give.

Florence, Fleur, Lily, Lilith, Emery. Emery flows well with Michelle.
My Oh likes Chloe, Zoe. I'm not a fan.
We don't really mention middle names often, so not too important.
What style do you like? Traditional? Or more trendy? Soooo many options!!

I really like Chloe Michelle.

I also like Ivy, Laura, and Olivia with Michelle.

We tend to lean on more traditional names, or older trendy names that aren't as common these days.

I think it's the amount of names that have us stumped to the point where we can't think of many.

MIL mentioned that she wanted to call Hubby Jodie if he had been a girl and I thought briefly about Caitlyn. Hubby doesn't like Caitlyn though.

Cheers for the suggestions. It's so difficult, especially when you realise that certain names remind you of people you don't like!

Chloe is a recent addition to the family so it's been taken, it was a favourite of mine when I was a teen.

Don't mind Ivy but that would leave the intitals as IMP. Though not as bad as the little CJD in our family.

Would have to agree about Zoe, it's so close to Chloe but for some reason I'm just not a fan.

We love traditional names too. And I just reread that those were rule out names. Sorry!

Elizabeth Michelle is long but seems nice.

Aubrey or Audrey, Hattie is an old name that I thought went with Michelle. MacKenzie if you don't mind the double m. And I'm chewing on Sandra. I like the name, not sure of the flow.

Elaine, Bridget, Hadley, Jade, June, Florence, Eleanor, Norah, Patricia, Kylie, Whitney...
