36 weeks tomorrow and this is the most pain and discomfort I have felt in all my pregnancies. Either I'm just a genius for repression or I truly did not have this.

I don't sleep. The last two weeks I have had the worst time sleeping. I toss and turn all night- which as you girls know is torture in itself.

I have had to pee significantly more at night since I've dropped two weeks ago and when I get up I cannot go back to sleep.

Insomnia has become my bff.

Lots of pain with sporadic contractions- I have intense BH ALL day but real ones I've been getting for the last two days (since my last post) have been a handful of times.

She's soooo low. There's soooo much pressure and just over all discomfort and pain! I feel my lower abdomen so sore. My lower back aches, my vag sometimes feels bruised.

I feel huge!! My maternity pants don't are tighter on me! Hopefully it's just the wash lol.

I've never made it past 37 weeks (exactly). Ever. The idea of going the full stretch frightens me. It's unlikely....but....nothing is unlikely with a pregnancy and baby. I mentioned my fears to my ob whose scoffed a said "you'll never make it that far not even 38 weeks".... 😩 now it will happen bc she said that...watch lol

I'm keeping a "labor log" to see how much of these sudden onset symptoms correlates with impending labor I started my log on 3/10.

I'm on labor watch.

I could have written this! I am 38 + 3 and SO DONE. This is my first so I don't have anything to compare but since the day I hit 38 I have had this:

-baby so low she's head butting cervix all the time. This is that sharp shooting pain and I've had it since about 28 weeks but it's way worse.
-breathless and light headed walking up stairs or standing too long
-poor sleep, can't get comfy up every 2 hours to pee
-so many BH all day long, worse at night
-maternity pants? LOL I am in yoga pants all day long
-period cramps on and off all day long

I hope that we are almost there!!

Welp, it's on and about to get popping ladies, keep us updated. Sorry for the pain.

Can I join you please? I'm 39+3 today but my other two were a week late so I'm guessing I have another week or so to go. I'm not too uncomfortable, I'm carrying small as usual (had two growth scans this pregnancy but all normal). Baby seems to be up and down, sometimes I don't even notice the bump then all of a sudden I have immense pressure and I can hardly walk. It lasts a few minutes then goes away again.

I'm ready for this baby to come out now, I'm paranoid about movement every day, thinking did she move as much today as she did yesterday. I am getting a lot of BH in the evenings, but last night I had this crazy thing that I haven't had before, where the baby was moving so much and so intensely that it was really painful and I thought for a while it was contractions. Nothing came of it though. I've got a sweep booked Thursday followed by parents' afternoon at my DD's school so hope I don't go into labour while I'm there!

hey mind if I join too?

I'll be 40 weeks tomorrow and very ready to have this baby boy! Last appointment last week I was still not dilated and nothing much happening since then. :( I do have BH contractions in the evening but nothing major. I feel like Im going to be pregnant forever lol. I have another appointment on friday so if nothing happens until then, he said he will schedule me for an induction on April 3rd. really hope it happens before!!

Im right there with you ladies! I keep having the worst BH in my back! I hope this doesn't mean back labor for me but that's the only place I feel them.

Labor Watch and my symptoms:

BH in back
Mucus plug little at a time
Dizziness when I stand
No sleep
Snoring <-- per my hubby!
Peeing constantly
PUPPPS <-- would not wish this on my worst enemy!

Im just ready for my little one to arrive!

This is going to sound odd. I'm so jealous! I want to be done already!!!

I'm in  Started with preterm labour at 34 weeks which they stopped with meds so I expected her to arrive as soon as the meds were stopped :dohh: not a chance lol

3-4cm dilated and she is so low I can't wee properly ugh
Lots of false starts and right now I feel like it's never going to happen. Worked my but off today cleaning so hoping it will kick start something !

Cewsbaby, my sympathies on the PUPPPS. I can't imagine how awful it must be !

I cry a little when I see the 40 weekers on here. I need him out. The thought of being pregnant for another week makes me wanna scream my head off. Hopefully I get an induction date tomorrow at my appointment. High Bp and swelling. Been on bed rest for the last week and I wanna scream. I want to touch my toes.

I'm only 36 weeks, but done now and want him to arrive!!. I'm due 20th April with my 3rd :)
For 2 weeks now I've been convinced I'm starting labour!!.

Strong BH hicks ( more than 4 an hour)
Period pains that come in waves every 10 mins that last for a few hours then stop.
Lower back ache.
Stabbing pains up my 'vag'!!:)
Pain in cervix, struggle to walk some days without feeling like he's going to just fall out!!
Only sleeping for a few hours then waking up to go to the loo 5000 times a night!!.

Good luck to everyone xx

I'm in! I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow with my happily frank-breech baby. I get to go into labour on my own but this kid seems so comfy where it is that I'm starting to wonder if I'll go late. I get BH mostly when I get up to walk around a lot, or dance just a little (at a party on Saturday, I wiggled a bit and decided after a minute of that that sitting was more comfortable for me). I don't have a huge belly or baby (it was measuring 6lb 7oz on Friday's scan), but I have to turn around and/or pee every 3 hours at night. Tiny pieces of mucous plug come out after sex, but really though, everything I've had going on now, I've had for weeks now. There's no extra indication that this child is deciding to come out any time soon.

Not sure if I'm ready anyway, lol. I would love for the discomfort to end, but it hasn't really been that horrible compared to most people, and I'm getting scared about the whole mom thing after, lol.

I feel like I'm officially on labor watch this week. I feel okay, actually, and I don't mind going to week 40 or beyond, but I just feel like my body is getting ready to go into labor soon.

I've been having sporadic real contractions for 2 weeks. Last week, I started having nights when I had false labor. I woke up this morning feeling like I rode a horse or bike all day yesterday and walking is pretty awkward today. I felt VERY tired today (although I also recall feeling this way last Monday). My in-laws are here, so I unashamedly took a nap and a nice long one at that. I woke up feeling hungover. lol But I feel my body is just preparing for labor.
I haven't had any plug loss whatsoever. But I have tons of pressure down low and cramping. I have been exercising this whole pregnancy, and today at the gym was the first day that I thought to myself, "I don't think I'm going to get to this end of this week without the baby being born." I just felt like she is on her way.
I have thought all along that she would be born on March 27th even if my due date is April 8th. 2 weeks ago, I began doubting that. And then this week it feels very likely. We will see!

Not feeling to bad if I'm honest. I'm used to insomnia, acid reflux, constant peeing and the bleeding gums now. The bleeding gums just make me feel like my mouth is never clean. He's so low now and it is quite painful but I just keep telling myself its all for a good cause. I just cannot wait to see little mans face and squish him!! Every twinge I get so excited.. come on Bubba!! :)

Can I join?????

Hi ladies! I am 37 weeks today and have my induction booked for next Monday (30th) as I'm type 1 diabetic! If the induction fails I have a c section pencilled in for the Wednesday.
For most of my pregnancy I have been getting up most nights every 2-3 hours to check sugars and inject insulin but whereas I used to be able to go straight back to sleep now I am flailing about like a beached whale and have to pee everytime! Humph!
My bump is massive ( que comments from members of public like.......gosh hope you have ambulance on standby!) I don't dare tell them I'm 37 weeks and some women would go another 4 weeks !
The worst thing is baby boy digging in under my ribs constantly! Ouch ouch ouch!

I am on the raspberry leaf tea, evening primrose, pineapple, curries etc this week but I don't anticipate labour anytime this week!

Good luck to everyone on here! I will be keeping track of everyone's progress. :flower:

Hi! I'm on labor watch too, but have a hard time knowing what to look for as this is my first. I'm not too uncomfortable- the worst is at night, painful hips, insomnia, getting up every few hours to pee. I am 38 weeks. Mostly I am anxious and scared about baby movement, since the specialist I see said at my age the placenta ages faster and we've been watching her umbilical blood flow every week to make sure it's normal. I think I will be induced this Wednesday, I cannot imagine the specialist letting her go for longer.

Update for me: new thing of the day is that the braxton hicks are getting more and more uncomfortable this afternoon. I don't know if it's a combination of the baby being in a weird spot and some BH or if it's the first contractions. It's spurred by movement (I was just going around the house doing some chores I've put off all day), so I doubt it will last, but kinda nice that I can tell now that something new might be happening, even if it hurts a little. Time to settle back down again for a bit!

Aww we all are in the same miserable boat! Happy to be pregnant mentally but physically done.

Cooking dinner today was brutal! My back was killing me. When I sat down I felt like her whole body was moving up. Two contractions so far I had to close my eyes and breath through.

I've got a more prominent waddle. I walked to the cornerstone yesterday with dh which averaged about a mile walk. Since then the discomfort has increased some more.

Mucus is clear and runny like.

I'd liked join you ladies if you don't mind, I'm currently 37+2 and from about 34 weeks ive had pressure and acHes in my lower bump, heartburn, if I stand for too long it brings on bh, a couple of weeks ago I went to debenhams at our local shopping centre and had to sit down because the bh were coming every 4 mins! Hubby had to help me back to the car 😂. I have swollen ankles and turning over in bed is becoming a near impossibility. The only thing I seam to have gotten away with is peeing in the night, I can get about 8 hours sleep without even turning over 😊 luckily my 18 month old takes after me so that seams to be one of the only positives 😂
With ds my water broke the day before his due date and he was born on his due date so I'm anticipating the same happening this time (fingers crossed) xxx

Lucky on multiple accounts!!

I had a false start last night. I had contractions every 7 minutes, and I also had them in small groups of no more than 2-3 minutes apart. It lasted for 2 hours. Then, it just sort of tapered off and quit. Slightly frustrating as I was having very strong contractions.
But obviously my body is doing something. So, I know it's better than having nothing go on at all. It's definitely like my body is playing games on me making me think I'm going into labor only to end up being like "Just kidding."
