Giving blood

Hi, Iv recently had a ceasarean section and am keen to start donating blood again. How long do I have to wait?

Think it's always a year after you had a baby whichever way.

It's 6 months, I rang up to check, just as I could start donating again, I fell pregnant again! X

I had to have four units of blood after my section. Sadly this means I'll never be able to donate again. Fortunately I did before. It seems crazy as I would live to do it more than ever now I have been saved by someone else's. Also I couldn't donate my milk
