My DD (4yrs old) is very poorly with high fever and a terrible cough ( did a pcr test but it was negative). I was mildly ill as well and breastfed newborn is doing well so I was thinking if it would help DD if I expressed a glass of milk for her in the morning every morning till she got better?

she has had pneumonia a few times and I think here she is really on the borderline of developing it and wouldn’t want her to be sick over Christmas when she is looking forward to it so much.

so have any of you ever tried this? Do you think the antibodies in the milk would help her get better quicker?

That's a good idea if she will drink it. It can only help. I hope she feels better soon :hugs:
