Glucose Test today..

I hate that stupid glucose test, it tasted so grow, i actually had problems keeping it down And the hour wait was horrendous in our hospital since i wasnt aloud to walk around, defiantly the worst thing i've had to do this pregnancy not looking forward to doing it again next baby.

Anyways I have a pre-natal on Friday wondering if anyone knows if they will have the results to my doctor by then? I cant remember how long it took?

My doctor said it would take like 2 weeks for the results.

Thats lame, i figured since it's just blood work it would only take a day or two.

Well they might have the results that early but she said I wouldn't be able to get them for 2 weeks. Maybe thats how long it takes to get it and then send the letter out with the results to you. So maybe they will have it there byy friday but not to you?

I think I may be the only one who didn't think the glucose drink was bad!
It was just like super, crazy sugery Sprite!

Anyways! My doctor's actually does this thing online where you have all your test results available and I got mine pretty fast, like within 2 days. But my OB also discussed my results a few weeks later. But I'm pretty sure you should have it by Friday though?

I dont live in a big city either theres like 80,000 people. I didnt have a doctors appointment for 3 weeks after i got mine with my son. Humm oh well doesnt really matter i know what shes going to say already lol

Yeah I had it done last friday and then I got a call on monday saying one of the blood test got messed up and I have to come back to do it again. Thankfully the one test that got messed up isn't doesn't have to do with the drink so I don't have to drink it again.

Haha they felt bad telling me because they know how much I HATE needles...I freak out everytime.

I went in on a Saturday for mine and had an appointment Monday, the results were in then.

Yeah I had it done last friday and then I got a call on monday saying one of the blood test got messed up and I have to come back to do it again. Thankfully the one test that got messed up isn't doesn't have to do with the drink so I don't have to drink it again.

Haha they felt bad telling me because they know how much I HATE needles...I freak out everytime.

The last time I went in I started crying and breathing funny and i kept making her wait..the lady wanted to have someone restrain me but my mom gave her a death glare so she backed off but it was bad =P I'd be soooooo mad if they called me to tell me they messed up.

Yeah I just got back from getting my blood taken again...they tried to get it out of the same vein as last friday and it hurt like HELL and they didnt get any blood from it so they had to take it from my wrist and now my wrist is a little bit swollen and really sore and so is the other spot. I was so mad, but so glad it is over until my next appointment.

Haha thank you. I did cry but only for a minute while it was happening because it hurt so bad. It helped that I had my mom there though, I don't think I could have done it alone.

Awwh, I dont mind needles I never feel them when they poke me I actually sat there and watched her, I just get scared when i notice how much blood they steal from me... Its my blood i want it to stay put.

It Made me throw up instantly with Jaymee. Im not looking forward to it again. I hated the Test in general.
