I think anyone making anti breastfeeding remarks are narrow minded idiots as well. I just have never heard anyone say oh breastmilk is poison, breastmilk is an inadequate form of nutrition...etc...

Can I just point out that its only two people that have said things that were out of order towards FFeeders? In the grand scheme of things it really isnt worth worrying about.

And there was atleast one person who said bad things about BF so I guess we are nearly even and we should call it quits.

Good. So you should and I would too. But if you can concede that it's possible to be offensive towards or against FF in general and you have seen it, is it not by the same token conceivable that someone can be offensive towards or against BF in general? That's the only point I'm trying to get across to you Wendy.

I have wrote at least once in this thread that there should be more supports out there for breastfeeding moms AND formula moms. I haven't seen anything against breastfeeding in this thread, therefore I did not address it. I would be writing practically the same posts if someone had wrote something against breastfeeding.

I have had someone on this forum tell me I am feeding Helena slimfast, so yes that is against FF in general.

At the end of the day there has been out of line comments on both sides of the fence. Its not just the BFeeding people being out of line but no one ever picks up on the 'other sides' comments.

If someone made a breastfeeding remark you wouldnt necessarily notice it because it doesnt stand out as offensive to you but it does to someone else. if you know what I mean.

ive taken offence to alot of comments n not all on this thread and it comes to a point where u need to sit back n think its only the net n at the end of the day a strangers comments cant really hurt u and dont effect ur day to day life.

You are a good friend. Also, a good Mom. Looking at your pictures of Helena should be proof right there that FF isn't a bad thing. She's gorgeous, and perfect!
