GMTV Round 2!!!!

I missed the GMTV article, but I just caught one on GMTV with Lorraine. Totally different article. They interviewed a lady who BF in public and was made to feel bad about it. She went on to say mothers should be encouraged and supported to BF in public. There was then another lady advocating BF in public and it should be encouraged by the government.

I was really pleased about this article, until I came on here and discovered they'd had another one earlier on. If they are going to discuss it, why not put both articles together, instead of one against it, then one for it, a whole hour later??? Crazy.

i missed both these. BF in public should be encouraged definitely and tv shows like this shouldnt show articles about people who are against it, it's the most natural thing in the world

To be fair the earlier article did give opinions on both for and against breastfeeding in public, I think it was because the ones against public breastfeeding were so strong that the ones in support were forgotten about.

I think its a bit of a cheek really as the people that slag breastfeeding in public would hit the roof if anyone dared criticise their choice to bottlefeed. Makes you wonder if they patrol the beaches handing out towels to anyone sunbathing topless.

You can see why many people choose not to bf if they feel they are going to get abuse for it.
