My son is BF, and we have been TW and BLW since 4.5 months, boy he loves his food!

I have been offered a Saturday job, but will be gone from 6am-2.30pm. My start time is negotiable if I accept the job.

I have child care sorted, I'm just unsure what to do about the booby feeding. If I gave him a boob before I left, could I leave my mum and dad with a bottle of cows milk, as well as breakfast and lunch solids? Is it necessary to wait til exactly 12 months to introduce cows milk?

He will be 9 months by the time I start the work. Will one bottle of cows milk per week do damage? I'm not looking to replace BF with cows milk.

Why would you not use formula? You could just get the ready made cartons.

I wouldn't give him cows milk personally. Our health visitors advise we can use cows milk in cereal from 6 month. So I did as advised and wish I never had. My lo went from having 1-3 bowel movements a day to about 12!! When I took him to the docs she said we don't advise cows milk in anything until 12 month. :-/ now nervous about anything dairy also about trying again when he's a bit bigger. Just waiting on results of some tests now.

I'm now of the opinion it's too much for their little tummies to handle and if I could turn back time I would definitely wait until at least 12 month.

I'd maybe suggest the half way point is formula before cows milk. Like PP said there are loads of really easy cartons and ready made bottles of it too for ease.x
