Going for my 2nd scan this afternoon!

Our first one was done at around 5 weeks and our doctor said it was too early to hear a heartbeat. Hopefully, we'll get to hear a heartbeat this afternoon!

The hubby and I are excited, nervous, hopeful... in T-Minus 3 hours, we'll get to see if all is well!

Everything went well. The baby's heart is beating just fine and the doctor said I'm actually now at 7 weeks, 4 days -- I was only 1 day off with my calculations!

I was VERY nervous about giving blood (I have an irrational fear of needles, and I nearly pass out when one is near me) and my blood pressure was oddly high (it never has been before) -- 160 over 90. *headdesk* I'm assuming my nervousness was the cause of this.

Also, my nitrite levels were high, so I'm on strict orders to drink more fluid (I really do not drink enough, so this doesn't surprise me) throughout pregnancy, and we're hoping to see huge changes with these two things within the next 3 weeks.

Any recommendations?
