Going from aptamil 2 to aptamil 1

Hey guys

My 6 month old is on solids now and my health nurse suggested going back to aptamil 1. Any suggestions how I do this?

Also I'm still offering the bottle first and give food 45 minutes after I start with the bottle. When should I start offering the food first?

i was wondering this too, but i think im going to go to stage 3 instead. id imagine just use up the box and start him straight wawy on the new one.

regarding offering food first i think the lunch time bottle is the one to start switching with food first, but im yet to do this so im not too sure.

You can just switch back. My midwife told me if you ff just use 1st milk there's no need to switch to 2nd stage milk, she said it's just marketing.

If bubs is 6 months now You should go to stage 3, don't go back to stage 1

stage 2 and 3 are not necessary. stage 1 milk is fine for the whole time you formula feed, ie up to 12 months. formula companies are banned from advertising stage one milk so they invented all the rest so they could make adverts.
