I am thinking of going it alone... I know i need to but I don't want to. I am balancing on the edge of a cliff and i need a good shove.

How do you do it?? I am on my own 24/7 for three months at a time and I cant cope....I dont think i can do it long term. With tom's extra needs ......meh..HElp!

*hugs*

I still remember a couple of our conversations.

Just want to ask this - maybe questions to ask yourself silently rather than answering me?
When OH comes home do you have:
a) another person to look after
OR
b) do you have hands on help physically and emotionally for you and Tom?

Very good questions wobbles thinking in exact symetry to you!!

Good question Wobbles...

You need to ask yourself whether he really makes it better just emotionally for you or does he REALLY help both you and Tom.
I know it seems being a single parent is impossible but hun, you're practically doing that as it is,trust me....sometimes it's actually easier when you're head isn't all messed in.

actually he helps out a lot - he does all the housework when here and will look after tom too. in that sense he is a godsend. but he will screw my head.

I was unsure hun thats all *hugs*

What he needs to be though is there for you both not just physically either x You've been very strong now you need someone to be strong for you for a lilllllll while x x

thisis why i am stuck. he will be there. He will do everything he can to help and be a normal family. But there will always be this stupid issue between us.

Don't stay with him because you need help with Tom. You will never be happy like that. I think when you're on your own you just learn to cope because you have to. Also, you can cope when you're on your own, you already do! It might be hard sometimes but there are good times too.
