Going to a concert at 8 weeks?

Good Morning!
Before I became pregnant my husband and I bought tickets to a rock concert on November 23rd. Its a small place so I know its going to be crowded.
I will be 8 weeks along then and now I am not sure if I should go.
What would you do?

I would go to the concert. I can't see any problem with it. Being in a crowded concert is no different than being on a crowded bus and nobody will tell you not to use public transport. So long as it is a non-smoking venue (and most places have banned smoking in public now) then I really can't see any problem whatsoever.

As long as it is a no smoking venue I would go too. I know at rock concerts there is probably a mosh pit or something like it but you can just stay on the edges of the venue to avoid people banging into you.

Even if someone does bang into you it won't do any harm. Your baby is safe in there - you would have to have a very nasty accident before your baby came to any harm through a bang or a fall.

I would definitely go, have a good time! I just bought tickets for next year I will be 7 months gone by then but not worried, we are much less delicate than you think. Plus my husband is a big guy so no one would dare bump into me LOL!!! Stick close to hubby and you'll be fine

Yeah go but take it easy! I went to a football match with my daughter when I was 10 weeks. The team scored and I jumped up and nearly fainted because I got so dizzy hahahahaha!

I went to two concerts while pregnant. One at 6 weeks and the other at 29 weeks. It was standing room only and pretty rowdy at the one at six weeks and it was fine. We sat at the one at 29 weeks and I swear it was so loud I swear my baby went into hiding. Regardless, she made it through fine and so did I. Enjoy!

I went to a concert around 9 weeks and nothing happened. I found a seat so I could rest before my band took the stage, and always had a bottle of water to stay hydrated. My husband kept the drunk people from knocking into me as well, haha!

I absolutely LOVE rock concerts, and next summer I will be pretty far along in my pregnancy but I still plan to go to the Mayhem Festival depending on who will be playing... I would def go and enjoy it.. Who are you going to see?
