Just a few sites I think would be good to use this Christmas :) *

https://www.stocking-fillers.co.uk/

This site has stocking fillers for boys and girls: and also men and women. The gifts are generally all under £10 and you can get alot of childrens gifts for under £1.

https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/Pages/Ideas/Search.aspx?Occasion=2

This site has some great ideas for homemade Christmas presents and decorations for all of us who are having a homemade Christmas. The ideas have a difficulty level, instructions and what you will need.

https://www.truffleshuffle.co.uk/

This site has retro clothing, gifts and accessories for men, women and children. It's good if you want to buy someone something different.

Feel free to add any more sites if you like :flower:x

https://giftshop.cancerresearchuk.org/ <- I've got LOADS off here for everyone I know and was getting for there are cute and cheap bargins also all the money goes to Cancer Research :)

Great for stocking fillers, games, Secret Santa etc :D

do you know what the percentage is that actually gets to the labs/to cure cancer and what is taken on admin and for shareholders?

Oh great idea hawalken! I'm a bigsupporter of cancer research and the gifts on that site are lovely too! :) x

do you know what the percentage is that actually gets to the labs/to cure cancer and what is taken on admin and for shareholders?

I'm sure it's about 90% of it goes to the labs/testing but not 100% sure I'll look into it :)

thanks i know in 1998 it was 70% then it went to 25% from sellers wasn't sure what it was now

Lynne192 I looked on the FAQs and it says:

14. Where will my money go?

This depends on what you buy from us: 100% of the profits from our own products e.g. Cancer Research UK pens and second hand clothing, go towards our lifesaving work; however we also use preferred suppliers for some of our products, and we share the profit on those products e.g.*20% of every flower order funds the vital work of Cancer Research UK.

Hope that answers your question? :) x

thanks hun been looking at the higher ups of charties and know some companies don't do as they say i don't know anything aout CR so couldn't comment but its good they at least give 20% better than 0 i guess?

Yeah I do know what you mean:)
And 20% is better than nothing, if your going to buya gift regardless it's better that a small percentage goes to a charity compared to shopping on the highstreet where none does x

we have 3 charity shops on the street across from me and i always get mine and wee man's books from there i like 2nd hand books better lol :D

For things like that and really original quirky purchases, charity shops are great :) x

good site just now is lidl as they are doing free photobooks :D

Ooh really! That's great, can you get a few of them? I could use them for a few peoples presents this Christmas :p x

Ooh, can do :p got some family addresses I could use too incase I need different addresses. Thankyou :D. X
