Got my Doppler! But...

I can't find anything =[[

It says on the leaflet that you can use water or oil ect instead of the gel so i used lotion but nothing was picking up not even my heartbeat!! what can be wrong?? =[[

Does it pick up any sound at all? If not, it might be a dud, or the batteries. But if it can pick up over your heart, then you just need to keep trying.

Start really low down over your pubic bone, use plenty of GEL, and start on the left, move really slowly. If you hear a rushing sound that might be the placenta. The baby's HB will be fast, as you know. But, having said all this, it is still quite early and some dopplers are better for a bit later on. Also if bubs is upside down at the moment it will be harder to find. Just remember it's heart is teeny tiny still.

Yeah, check how many weeks the doppler is good for. Some that I have seen are only good after 21 weeks.

Its an agel sounds says it picks things up from as early as 12 weeks xx

Oh wait now, is it a 2008 model? Or 2007? Because I believe there was something about the 2008 model without the gel...
