Got my list of tests today

So, I need to go for blood work, the initial pg one that I havent done yet, also the one for the NTscan which,... I might not get!!! She said they're so booked, I might not get in within the next 3 weeks! She doesnt even think it's nessesary, well, I kinda want it done. So she gave me the number to call and try to get a booking. My big ultrasound is dated for December, um, 9th I think, jeese ud think Id remember that date!!! I guess I was so distrott at the thought of not being able to get in for the nt scan.

Stay the course happymama...and don't give up...you have to be proactive. Good luck with your tests and scan...I'm sure everything will be OK.

You have a funny system over there! We just go to the midwife and everything else sort of follows on. Lucky i suppose, anyway good luck with getting a test booked honey xx

Um, don't take no for an answer just because they're busy, how awful of them to make excuses!

I am in a similar position, the hospital is very busy and they haven't booked mine yet. If I don't hear soon I will ask for a referral to another diagnostic imaging place - if you live in a decent sized municipality there will be lots of clinics that can do this test - squawk till you get sent to one, that's my plan!!!

Hell yeah, you need to fight them!! Have your MW call...wouldn't that get you in quicker than you calling yourself?

I finally got through!!! 2 days of calling, and getting a recording that all operators are busy to call back. Thats when my 17 mth old decided to have his 1st screaming fit of his life, then my 4 yr old decided to join him The secretary asked me if I wanted to deal with them and call back later! I was like,. Um, NO!!!! Then explained how Ive been trying to get through for 2 days, and how no matter what as soon as I get back on the phone someone will start screaming since I have 5 kids and they take turns,...then I said under my breath,.. and Im having another one. She burst out laughing, which totally calmed the tension. I went outside on the front porch to talk to her. She says, oh, they're quiet! I said no, I stepped outside, but I can still hear them. They're fine, they're still screaming, so that means they're still breathing.

Anyways, I have an apt for Nov 3rd! Going to stop by the lab today to get my bw done.
