I had my initial consultation on Friday with good news really. Our hospital is the Luton and Dunstable but they gave us a choice of centres so they obviously dont do it at L&D. Oxford, Cambridge, Hammersmith or St Barts. Has anyone had treatment at any of these places? Any recommendations?
We will get 3 free cycles, so 6 attempts with the frozen eggs. However, I just posted another thread about some pains I was having and there's a possibility I could have PCOS-If I did, how would this affect our treatment if atall??
I'm having a trans vaginal scan in 2 weeks. Is it painful? What is involved?
We were told as soon as she refers us we can have the treatment in 8 WEEKS! Very quick, my friends have taken months and months one has been waiting 2 years! I dont qualify as a nurse until next Summer so I want to time the treatment so get pregnant on the course, and I have the baby (if it works) after I qualify. How long do you have to work somewhere inorder to get full mat leave? I'll be working for the NHS so I assume its the same all over the country. Anyone know this?
Sorry theres a lot here, Im trying to get my head around it all at the minute. Bit overwhelming as there's so much info to take in but I'm really excited that its all finally happening for us!!!
