Had my midwife appointment this morning at 39 plus 6. During a contraction my midwife checked the heart rate and it had a deceleration so she was worried. She also thought I could be in early labour so sent me to l and d.
Got monitored and vabies heart rate was ok thankfully. The machine picked up regular mild contractions and she gave me a sweep to get things going she said I was 2cms dilated and cervix was posterior and 1cm long?she pulled her glove out and there was so much blood. She said it was just more of a show and I've lost some more bloody plug too.
So hoping thins start soon she seemed positive that I would be back in the next day or two in established labour but we will see.
Fingers crossed.
Anyone else had a good sweep, had a show and it not work? I don't want to get my hopes up if it's not going to work at all! X
