Hi been looking at pushchairs and prams today. Although i'm still in love with the Silver Cross Surf it's just a little out of our budget range :-(

We saw the Graco Evo and i love this one almost as much especially at the price but as it's quite new out, there aren't many reviews on it yet. Has anyone here got one or know of somebody who has that could give me a quick review? Also the car seat is a Graco one. I'm not very knowledgeable about the different makes of car seat out there all i know is that isofix and maxi cosi are supposed to be the best. Is the Graco one a good make or not obviously safety is very important.

Thanks for your help in advance :-)

Hi, I havnt seen this model before so googled it :) it looks very nice and if I needed a single I would defiantly look into this,
I don't know much about car seats but I think you can get isofix for any make of car seat, that's just the way you attach it to the car, I would emagen like most of them you will just have to buy a base, I think maxi cosi are a popular brand but I don't think a graco car seat would be particularly unsafe, it's a very good name brand, I had a mamas n papas car seat with Sophie and only have a maxi cosi for baby becuse it's what goes on my new double buggy.
Looks like a great buggy for the price xx

i had a graco travel systym for my first 2 and we will still use the car seat again for this one they are a very good make. i was going to go for the graco evo but it doesn't fit in my car i only have a C1. so have gone with the mamas and papas elite.

I can't comment on the actual quality of this pushchair, as I don't have one - but I just wanted to say that this would be the pushchair we would get if we hadn't decided to get a tandem. We tried out all the models in Mothercare and the Evo really stood out, everything about it seemed fantastic - attractive, light, compact, smooth to push, easy to fold, suitable from birth, compatible with carrycot and car-seat, parent- and forward-facing (I think?), large shopping basket etc - and really good price. My OH loved it too.

We tried out lots and have settled on buying the Evo. With the car seat you can buy the base for £40 that is secured with seatbelt, the car seat won't fit Iso fix base and there aren't and adaptors available yet for maxi cosy car seat to fin in pram. But other than that we it tick every box for us. Hope this makes sense x

I saw someone in a cafe with one of these and made a note of the name as I was so impressed (the mum must have thought I was a right weirdo staring at her baby!). It looked great, really mavouverable. I don't think it has been out that long and it's only available in mothercare afaik so that explains the lack of reviews. Also none on ebay!

This is the one i have set my heart on:cloud9: they are bringing it out in other colours in sept .........i got to make my mind up which colour i love the black but the lime green is rather cute too xxxxx i find out babies sex thursday maybe that might sway me which to get black or lime green xx oh and the nice lady in mothercare got the whole buggy including the carrycot into my smart car xx:baby:

Thanks everyone :-) I guess that's my pram sorted then. It's lovely my OH wasn't too keen on the Surf and he really likes this one too so that's good. I love it in lime green but may hold off buying it until i see then new colours. I'm so excited :-)

iv ordered this in black after trying it out for my 6 month old. I dont need the carry-cot and to be honest as it can be parent facing and lay flat a bit of waste of money, and I have the junior car seat and base already which compatible with it. I think you can get the car seat cheaper if you don't buy it colour coordinating. ours is black and grey, which goes with everything. I suppose you could shop around for the car seat as they are available everywhere!. I didn't have the time to try it out in my car which is corsa, but if the lady at mothercare can fit it in a smart car, im well away :-). I cant wait for it to arrive!.

£35 saving, the only difference is the name and colours!. think about it could get quite a few baby bits with that!.

We've bought this and love it for it's ease of use and foldability! We ordered the car seat and carrycot in lime but had to order the pram in pitstop and hope to change it later when it finally comes in stock as we're doing the mothercare baby plan.

I just looked it up and I love it! But, they don't sell it here in the US yet. I hope it comes here within the next few months! I would love to see it!
We have only used Graco brand and have always been happy! :)

Hey we were going to get this but after 3 months of trying to get it with no luck we gave up. The lime green was always out of stock. We wanted it so badly though and we were phoning mothercare every few days! Went to babies r us and saw the symbio b in boysenberry so got that instead :) sounds really stupid as we still have 3 months left but i was getting all worked up and anxious that we didnt have a pram yet! Symbio b looks very similar and we love it. And a plus side is the pushchair changes into a carrycot, because we would have had nowhere to store the seperate evo carrycot when baby is older and uses pushchair. The evo is a great pram though x

yay, mine has been dispatched!. will have to write a review of it once I have taken little one out in it a couple of times. ill have to go out in it just to show it off!.

Having sent several emails to Graco and Mothercare, regarding using a graco junior baby car seat instead of evo car seat, as I already had this, you need the adaptor to fit these on to the pushchair, which you get with the graco evo and mothercare dont sell the adaptor seperately, but ive got round this. You can buy a brand new graco junior baby seat for less than £50, the biscuit one is £60 if you bring up on new ones on ebay they come up quite a difference, you can get the car seat base for about £22, £35 in Mothercare. If anyone has the junior baby seat already you can buy the adapto for it to fit the evo for £10, saves you buying another seat. The adaptor is ICS adaptor graco only make one, and this allows the logico and junior baby seat to fit on pushchair, although the car seat bases are different for these seats this adaptor is same for both. It is available on internet.
The graco evo will soon be available in different retailers, as it was only exclusive to mothercare till August, and it should be about £50 cheaper. I think the only reason Mothercare had exclusive rights is that Graco make Mothercare baby stuff thats why the Mothercare car seat fit the Graco car base. God I have learnt so much more about baby stuff since being a grandma and it is all such a rip off. So all of you look for those bargains and you will have that extra money to buy something else you need. Hope this helps everybody. If you have questions do what I did write to the companies that make them they should know.

Personally i love Graco, the brand in general. About everything in my house that I use for my children is Graco and it has been very sturdy and reliable. Yeah they are more on the pricey side, but when it comes to quality and use you can get out of them, it is worth the price. I have a playpen that I bought that is graco and it lasted me through two children...true it is now on it's last leg, but it works. I also have a stroller from them and believe me that thing is the best stroller I have ever used and I don't have to stress about pushing it through dirt or rocks. Great brand!! :D

I love this!!!!!!
OH hates it.. and we ruled it out since I dont want a graco carseat..
But if OH liked it, and it fitted a maxicosi id have it!!! its really good for its price. ive tried it in the shop. LOVELY to push, reallllly really light too!!!

Sorry for dropping in from First Tri, but I've been looking at this pram too (although purely at the research stages). With it being suitable from birth, does anyone know if you NEED the carrycot or whether the pushchair lies flat enough for a newborn? Just because space in the car boot is a premium and part of the reason I quite liked this one was because it seems like you don't need to have a carrycot, whereas with prams like the Oyster and a few iCandy's you need to have one.

The seat unit is suitable from birth so you wouldn't need the carrycot. We really liked the look and feel the evo but we were disappointed that the handle height wasn't adjustable.

yes i have maxi cosi cabriofixseat and easyfix base that i have used for my grandchild up to 14 months brilliant doesnt move an inch in car and top car seat on Which 84% the base is really heavy and holds down well where the graco base and the mamas and papas pliko one are so light not as secure, if you have the evo and put the car seat on pushchair does it move a lot cause i thought it did, when i bought the last pushchair it was a cheaper one mothercare u move but when car seat is on pushchair its solid feels like part of the pushchair. am i just being overprotective, there are just so many probs coming up months later with these systems, my kids are grown up with their kids but i never had these probs when they were babies. maybe i m just to old.
