I tested positive for group B strep just before I got pregnant, I meant to tell the hospital but kept forgetting, I was with my GP on Wednesday getting a repeat prescription for insulin and had to get the flu jab, he gave me a letter for the hospital and said it was very important they knew about the Strep B.
So as you do I decided to do some research and found it can be more proplomatic in pregnancy's if the mother is diabetic...
I'm not to worried as I think Ive had this a while esp as my second baby labour I developed a high temp and he had one when delivered and needed intravenous antibiotics he was fine thankfully.
but if I do need antibiotics and I will more than likely be induced, plus labour generally being very quick for me 2 hours and 15 minutes the last two times, how will they have time to make sure I get enough.
