growth scans

Hi

Had 28 week growth scan last week and they were concerned as baby on 5th centile. They gave me steroids for her lungs as a precaution incase of early induction.

I'm back today for doppler scan on cord and growth scan next week.

Will they have a quick check on measurements again today does anyone know?

They usually leave 2 weeks in between weight estimates but check cord flow more frequently. When I was having my twins they were measured once a fortnight, liquor levels and cord flow checked twice a week but I had issues with twin 1 having dangerously low fluid as well as slowed abdominal growth. Twin 1 was born on 12 percentile and twin 2 on the 6th percentile so I have been booked in for growth scans at 28, 32 and 36 weeks with this pregnancy just to keep an eye on things. Bit of an over precaution as twins can sometime be naturally smaller anyway but they said they would rather check and see no issues than not check and there be a problem.

Yes today the just checked the flow through the cord and all was fine. In next week to check the growth x
