GTT Late?? Please help!!

Hello ladies

Ive been told by my MW that i wont have my GTT till after 28 weeks as i have a consultant appointment at 28 weeks is this normal has anyone else been told this? xxxx

In Ireland (whether this helps or not), it's around 28wks, but could be 27 or 29 wks when you are actually scheduled for the GTT, as it can take an entire morning (I did the 4 hour test on morning) and normal life, e.g. work, doctors' appointments, etc., can interfer....

try not to worry too much, some people hated doing the test -- for me, it was okay but as I try not to drink too much sugary drinks, felt slightly hyper for the rest of the morning!

I was told 26 weeks unless overweight by too much or showing signs of diabetes.
