Hello all,
My OH and I started TTC last September, so I'm now coming up to the year mark. I don't feel like I belong in the "normal" TTC section for various reasons.
Had a BFP on Dec 4th, but sadly lost the baby 10 days after that.
Had some issues with my contract at work so NTNP for a little while, before really getting back into it in April.
In June & July I had what I think were chemical pregnancies/v early losses in both cycles, at approx. 4 weeks. Pregnancy symptoms started building about 5-6 days after ovulation with spotting which looked like my original implantation bleeding starting at about 10DPO, but then symptoms got less and less as the spotting continued. I don't test early so never confirmed a positive, but I very much FELT like I did in December.
Have made a doctor's appointment for the 2nd Sept to talk about the loss(es) and time it's taken so far. I feel like my immune system is attacking every embryo which tries to form.
The major thing which sticks in my mind is that at my first loss, I felt REALLY uncomfortable in my uterus - like there was a big, solid grapefruit in there - it felt like a hard ball every time I bent over. On the ultrasound they remarked that there was a lot of fluid in the uterus, which shouldn't have been in there.
I've also been quite ill every time I've been (or believed myself to be) pregnant. The first time I had a chest infection which was actually bad enough to warrant quite a lot of (prescription) medication; in June I had a bad cold and in July a sinus infection, all starting not long after ovulation.
All this makes me think it's my immune system mounting a response to any fertilised egg which tries to implant itself. I did Immunology for two years at University which is probably why it's ringing alarm bells for me.
So, I guess this is "hi" from me, and a query if anyone else has shared these symptoms?
