Hello all,

My OH and I started TTC last September, so I'm now coming up to the year mark. I don't feel like I belong in the "normal" TTC section for various reasons.

Had a BFP on Dec 4th, but sadly lost the baby 10 days after that.

Had some issues with my contract at work so NTNP for a little while, before really getting back into it in April.

In June & July I had what I think were chemical pregnancies/v early losses in both cycles, at approx. 4 weeks. Pregnancy symptoms started building about 5-6 days after ovulation with spotting which looked like my original implantation bleeding starting at about 10DPO, but then symptoms got less and less as the spotting continued. I don't test early so never confirmed a positive, but I very much FELT like I did in December.

Have made a doctor's appointment for the 2nd Sept to talk about the loss(es) and time it's taken so far. I feel like my immune system is attacking every embryo which tries to form.

The major thing which sticks in my mind is that at my first loss, I felt REALLY uncomfortable in my uterus - like there was a big, solid grapefruit in there - it felt like a hard ball every time I bent over. On the ultrasound they remarked that there was a lot of fluid in the uterus, which shouldn't have been in there.

I've also been quite ill every time I've been (or believed myself to be) pregnant. The first time I had a chest infection which was actually bad enough to warrant quite a lot of (prescription) medication; in June I had a bad cold and in July a sinus infection, all starting not long after ovulation.

All this makes me think it's my immune system mounting a response to any fertilised egg which tries to implant itself. I did Immunology for two years at University which is probably why it's ringing alarm bells for me.

So, I guess this is "hi" from me, and a query if anyone else has shared these symptoms?

Just wanted to say hi and sorry for your loss, i havent experienced anything like you have, ive never had a bfp in 8 years, i am very irregular and DH has a possible low sperm , doing another SA in a few weeks the i'll be starting clomid
Hope you get some answers soon xx

Thanks star. Really hope the Clomid will help you, I know several people who've had great results from it. :)

thank you, im just worried about the next SA but 3 months of clomid might give me a little hope along the way and at least get me to ovulate! :)

Hi Blue! I also started ttc last September. I haven't had any experiences like you have either. My cycles are pretty regular (although they are 5 weeks instead of 4, which makes the 2ww a 3ww...ugh!) and I suspect endo. I just started the whole fertility testing thing. I had an US on Monday and haven't heard from the doc yet. I will go for blood work on CD3 of my next cycle and my DH is having a SA on Sept 2nd. I will be thinking about you on this day as well!

Maybe since we are at similar places in our ttc journey we can be buddies and support each other?

FX for you!!!

Hi Navy!

That'd be great, being buddies! :) I'm not on BnB lots, though, as I'm trying to wean myself off it a little as it does help fuel the obsession. Hope you've heard from the doctor by now regarding your US.

Appointment with the GP for me tomorrow at 9:50. Nervous...
