Any names you love and feel a tad embarrassed about?
Or names you like but wouldn't name your child?

Mines are Tallulah, Tatiana, Zion & India (guilty pleasure)
George, Lalita, Lola & Georgia (wouldn't name)

May think of more as the day goes on...............

Tallulah and Tatiana are names that i liked too but ruled out too early in my last pregnancy as i felt they were a bit 'too much', great minds think alike :winkwink: . I also thinking about Lilliana/Lillianna towards the end but agin had a feeling that it was maybe a bit 'too much', especially with my other childrens names . xx

Can't believe I'm admitting to this but......I've always kind of liked  Angel and Octavious for boys    Would never name a child either though!

I've been mulling over Indiana and Aurora if my baby is a girl, but not sure I could or would actually want to use those names.

Willow, Ebony and Summer are my unusual names I wouldnt be allowed to use! x

MUMOF5 I love the name Lillianna too but my hubby has long ago vetoed that one:nope: I love the name Tanis for a boy but I hate the meaning (greek for snake) so I couldnt go with that...I always come up with "odd" names though

Sovryn for girl and Wulfric for boy. I would totally name my child that, but OH and my mom have pretty much said no to those. But I really love them.

Trinity, Willow, Rocco, Dakota, Kylo, Saige, Jasley, Mariah, Shiloh, Sheldon, Brooklyn <---- I just can't seem to get anyone on board with these names, lol. Plus, i'm not sure i'd be "brave" enough to use them anyhow!

OMG there are loads! Mostly it isn't me that wouldn't use them but OH. These were all actually on my names longlists and were crossed off by OH (they were mostly on my middle names longlists mind):

Picabo (I really pushed for this as a mn but OH wouldn't have it), Silver, Tallulah, Starla, Xanthe

Pirate, Zeus, Apollo, Orion, Darwin

We almost used Trinity as a mn for Arianna (along with Rose) but on the day she was born decided against it. I'm on board!

Araminta for a girl. I have always loved the name since seeing moondial but it's too posh and everyone I know laughs when I mention it

For a boy I love the name ptolemy (pronounced toll-e-my) there was a programme on BBC called restoration and the architect was called Ptolemy dean and I just love the way it sounds. Again though it's too posh and it would be really hard to spell

I love Mariah and Shiloh! Btw how do you pronounce the latter - is it Shy-loh or She-loh? I'd imagine it would be the first way?

I also love Ashley for a boy but it's too popular as a girls name now :(
Andre, Carlo and Santos are another 2 of my guilty pleasures!

I got my second great dane about 8 months before we got pregnant and since I was in mommy-mode I called him Orion. However if I didn't call my dog that, we probably would have called our first son that!

Tiberius... bit of a Star Trek fan... hehehe... "Ty" for short!

I love Wolfgang, Heathcliff and Perseus...bit of a romantic me.

Seriously adore Willow for a girl, but would be disastrous with my surname.

Girl Names: Meadow, Paisley, Rainey

Boy Names: Hubert, Thadeous

I would name my child these but the DH and my family are so into classic US names.
My children now are Andy, Brian, Kellie, and Jane
